Formulated with only 3 natural ingredients, this handmade soap is extremely gentle and unscented. It is specifically designed for the sensitive skin of babies and is composed of key ingredients including buttermilk, olive oil, and coconut oil to provide optimal nourishment and mildness. To extend the life of your soap bar, be sure to store it in a well-draining soap dish.
This soap is formulated to be gentle for babies, but it is not tear-free, so caution should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes.

Saponification is the chemical reaction during the soap-making process in which the building blocks of fats and oils (triglycerides) react with lye (sodium hydroxide) to form soap. The word literally means "soap making" or "turning into soap" as "sapo" is the Latin word for soap.
After saponification the soap is cured for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure maximum water evaporation and harden the bar of soap.
