Due to the significant concentration of coconut oil, this soap may cause dryness to your hands when washing dishes without gloves.

Saponification is the chemical reaction during the soap-making process in which the building blocks of fats and oils (triglycerides) react with lye (sodium hydroxide) to form soap. The word literally means "soap making" or "turning into soap" as "sapo" is the Latin word for soap.
After saponification the soap is cured for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure maximum water evaporation and harden the bar of soap.
